Herrera mentions an instance when his company installed a large-scale solar thermal system (1420 evacuation tubes) at the St. Regis Aspen Resort in Colorado without experiencing any delays. The output from the system ranges from 1.0 to 2.5 million British thermal units per day, which save client $110,000 per year. “The cost savings, coupled with rebates, grants, and incentives, helped the client achieve a 100 percent return on investment in less than two years. This means the savings from the rest of the system’s 18-28 years lifespan is money earned,” states Herrera. This project and others like Schofield Barracks in Hawaii received glowing accolades in the renewable energy, utility level arena for ingenuity and efficiency. Driving a Renewable Future for Energy Utilities

InnerSol Inc. educates third world countries on the advantages and environmental implications of using solar energy. Also, the company is working with leading corporations to aid them in understanding the significant cost savings that a solar deployment can bring.
